Cycleguard is a special flexible insurance policy created to meet the needs of today's cyclist. With over 1 in 5 bikes reported as stolen and over 26,000 cyclists involved in accidents each year, Cycleguard have created a flexible choice of cover options to suit your needs and your pocket. Select the cover you need from the following options:

Option 1 - Cycleguard Comprehensive includes cover for you and your bike for:

• Personal Liability of £1 million for claims made against you for your proven negligence if you cause an accident or damage third party property whilst using or pushing your bike
• Replacement on a new for old equivalent basis for cycles up to three years old
• Cash settlement on cycles over three years old, less depreciation at 10% per annum
• Theft of your bicycle subject to using an approved lock (click here for our approved list)
• Accidental damage
• Theft Covered unattended subject to being locked to an immovable object
• Accessories on a stolen bike are covered when included in the sum and stolen with the bike
• Road based time trials included - all other racing or competitions excluded
• In transit cover when on public transport accompanied by you, or handed to a recognised transport provider and in adequate protective packaging
• Minimum claim amount of £100
• Insuring cyclists age 16 up to 75

Option 2 - Our Standard Cycleguard policy includes:

• All of the above but DOES NOT cover Personal Liability

For the above 2 options bicycles and any fixed accessories must be insured for their usual new undiscounted retail replacement cost. Proof of purchase will be necessary in the event of a claim.

Option 3 - Cycleguard Roadcare covers you for:

• £1,000,000 third party liability cover (£500 excess on third party property damage)
• The use of a legal helpline and legal assistance (subject to circumstances) in pursuing claims against third parties - operated by Lawshield
• Insuring cyclists age 16 up to 75
