Who is Kiarie? (pronounced key-er-ey)

Kiarie is a real design company owned and operated by MacKenzies of Wick in Scotland. MacKenzies was established in 1904 and is now a successful third generation design and furnishing company. Using the expertise gained from decades of trading Alan MacKenzie and his talented retail and design team launched Kiarie a web based e-commerce company dedicated to finding and delivering on time the most unusual home fragrances, furnishings and gifts.

As part of this service Alan has established an exclusive 'Kiarie Express' service for sending worldwide the best quality fragranced candles and gift ideas - which are a superb alternative to flowers or chocolates - giving hours of scented pleasure.

Using the name Kiarie, they can imagine a character that travels the world finding the most beautiful and unique things that are then made exclusively available on this website. Kiarie is the sum efforts of Alan MacKenzie's team, the items discovered by Kiarie are the same items his team researches and finds from destinations all over the world. The comments Kiarie makes are the thoughts of this same team. As the team discovers the most remarkable pieces then the story of Kiarie begins to unfold ... a million ideas ... thousands of things ... hundreds of origins ... discovered by one name ... Kiarie.

Kiarie and Africa

Kiarie, as a company, sources products from all around the world but having a very close relationship with Africa, Kiarie is aware and mindful of the specific problems there that many children face as a result of poverty and illness. Kiarie's positive way of doing more to help is by actively supporting and helping these very needy children.

Kiarie's Secure Payments

You can pay for your order securely online, Kiarie accept most major credit and debit cards in your local currency. Kiarie currently accept payments online in GB Pounds, US Dollars and Euros. (You can change the currency/prices via selecting GBP in the top right-hand corner of the website).

Kiarie - UK Deliveries

Standard delivery within the UK is £3.95 unless there are any current Kiarie site offers offering free postage and pack on orders over a certain amount. At times it may not be possible to calculate the cost of delivery, (ie if a package is very heavy) in these instances a member of the Kiarie team will contact you once you've placed your order (typically within 24 hours) with an accurate price for the cost of delivery. If in the unlikely event, you are not satisfied with the delivery charges then you have the right to cancel your order. No cost will be incurred by yourself should you decide to cancel your order.

Items delivered by the Kiarie Express service are usually delivered next working day, if the order was placed before 1100 GMT (Mon-Thur), but please allow up to 72 hours for delivery if you live in more desolate areas of the country.

Kiarie aim to deliver within 5-7 working days of order confirmation for smaller items delivered using Kiarie's Standard Delivery, although Kiarie ask that you allow 14 days for delivery before contacting customer services.
