Ladbrokes Poker Games and Tips on Winning!
Ladbrokes Poker want to make sure you have fun, enjoy the casino experience and want to come back and play. To help you along the way Ladbrokes Poker have put together a range of hints and tips on Ladbrokes Poker's favourite games (see below).
Blackjack
In Blackjack you will play against the dealer's hand and the aim is simple - to beat the dealer's hand with a higher score, one that is closer to 21.
Once you have decided the size of your bet click the “Deal? button, the dealer will deal two cards to you and one to himself. As soon as the last card is dealt you will decide whether to HIT (take another card) or STAND (no more cards dealt).
If your two cards total 21 you have Blackjack which pays 3-2 as long as the dealer does not have a ten or an ace. If you draw another card after you have received your first two and you have more than 21 with three cards you will be bust and have lost the hand.
There are a few things that a novice, intermediate or even the advanced player can do to increase their chances at the blackjack table. Below are a few tips to help you:
The object of the game is to beat the dealer, it is not to attain a score of 21 with your cards.
Ladbrokes Poker suggest that as you become more familiar with the game, you should learn the optimum strategy play that's available in the expert mode at Ladbrokes Poker's download casino. This can bring down the house edge down to less than 1%! If you still prefer to play by your instincts, good luck!
Finally, know when to walk away. Always set yourself a table limit and stop when you reach it, win or lose.
Roulette
Roulette is one of the easiest and potentially most profitable table games in the casino. Here are a few tips to guide you in your play.
The game of roulette is a game of chance, no mathematic theories will help you better your winning edge.
When playing roulette Ladbrokes Poker recommend you choose the European version with it's house edge of 2.63%. Compare this to the American version...5.26%. Where would you rather play!
Manage your money, always set yourself an amount that you can afford to lose.
Make sure that you read the definition of bets for roulette and consider developing yourself a betting strategy, i.e.:- even money bets only (Red or Black), that will help you maximise profits when your numbers come in.
Slots
Playing slots is really very simple. Decide on the size of the coin you wish to bet with the increase and decrease buttons.
Use the one bet button to increase the number of coins you are about to wager by one. Use the bet max button if you would like to wager the maximum number of coins for this slot machine. When this is done, start the game by clicking the Spin button.
Slots have become increasingly more popular with their customers so Ladbrokes Poker have put together a few simple tips that Ladbrokes Poker hope will propell you on a winning streak.
Pay table information is usually held on a different screen to the reels. You'll be able to click back and forth between the pay table and reels as you wish...be sure to check out the jackpot combination before you start to play.
Some slots such as Mermaid Millions and Tomb Raider have options to bet a number of coins per line. Take care to check how much it will cost you per spin and how many lines to bet on.
When playing always set yourself a limit and walk away when you reach it, win or lose!
Take time over your play and enjoy it.
Video Poker
Playing Video poker requires only a basic understanding of Poker hands. The game itself is simple. Decide on the coin size you wish to play with and how many coins you wish to bet by clicking on the column on the payout schedule, or by using the Increase and Decrease buttons.
Click deal to start the game
You will be dealt five cards and you will have to choose what cards to hold. When you have decided, click the draw button for your new cards. If your cards make up a winning hand you will be offered an opportunity to double your money or collect.
Video Poker is much like blackjack, as it is a game of where careful play can reduce the house edge.
Play carefully - there is no need to rush, make decisions wisely.
Understand the pay tables of each type of Video Poker.
Play each hand like it is a new game.
Practice can make you a better player. When you're ready, have a go using our expert mode. Hints, tips, payout comparisons and more are at your fingertips in our full download Casino.
Progressive Slots
Progressives Slots have the same principles of play as any other slot machine, other than you will need to play maximum number of bets to qualify to win the huge jackpots.
The potential winnings on our progressive slots are huge. 'Super' Ted Reid, Ladbrokes biggest ever winner, pocketed a whopping £743,897.43 on Major Millions. Could Ladbrokes Poker's next lucky winner be you?
To win the jackpot you must play the maximum number of coins.
Set yourself a limit for each session you play - quit when you're far enough ahead, stop if you've hit your limit.
Play the biggest jackpots...it could be a life changing win!
3 Card Poker
3 Card Poker is two games in one, the Pair Plus game and the Ante game. These can be played together or as individual games. 3 Card Poker is played with one standard deck of 52 cards that is shuffled before each game.
This game started life in land based casinos and has progressed into Ladbrokes Poker's online casino to become one of the more popular Casino Poker games. Here are a few tips to get you started.
For the best returns we recommend that you play the Pair Plus bet.
Always play with a hand of Q-6-4 or better. Never play with a hand that's worse than this.
Baccarat
The game of that famous spy, 007. Baccarat is one of the easiest table games to play - you either bet on the Bank or the Player. Whoever scores closest to nine is the winner and you can also bet on the possibility of a tie.
Baccarat is played with eight standard decks of 52 cards and the decks are shuffled after every game.
There are three types of bets: Player, Banker and Tie
Some players like to keep track of how many Bank or Player wins there have been as this helps them to decide their bet.
A tie bet offers the highest odd payouts at 8/1.
Winning bets on the Player pay even money. Winning bets on the Bank pay very slightly less at 19/20 (or 1.95).
Cyberstud Poker
Cyberstud Poker is a form of Caribbean Stud Poker and again you are pitting your wits against the dealer. In this game the object is to beat the dealers poker hand.
At the start of each game you must lay an Ante bet.
It's important to remember that whatever your Ante bet, to win a game of Cyberstud Poker you'll have to place another bet that's double your Ante if you want to have a chance of winning. To play, click the deal button and you will be dealt five cards and the dealer is dealt one card.
When you receive your cards, you can choose to Call or Fold - if you Fold, that hand is over and you will have lost your Ante...Call, and that's when your extra bet is placed and the suspense begins. Have you beaten the dealers hand?
Both yours and dealers hands are compared and if yours is the strongest you'll be paid out in accordance with the payout table. The payout is dependent on the value of the hand you are holding.
