These tours offer independence, flexibility and choice, travel any day you like, set your own pace, you are not limited by the constraints of group travel, or build in extra days if you want to. The principle is the same as with Sherpa Expeditions' walks. Sherpa Expeditions book your accommodation, move your baggage each day from hotel to hotel, and supply you with a bike suitable for the terrain.

You are also equipped with maps and details of what to see along the route. Often there is a choice of rides each day so that you can choose exactly how energetic you want to be. It's a great way to explore the back roads and scenery of Britain and Europe.

A self-guided Inn to Inn Walk follows a linear or circular route, staying at hotels or country inns.

As you are walking independently you are free to follow the trail at your own pace. Your bags are moved on to the next hotel each day so you can enjoy your walk knowing that your baggage will be waiting for you at your next night's accommodation.

The hotels are chosen for their accessibility to the trail and for the warmth of their welcome. Many of Sherpa Expeditions' hoteliers are keen walkers themselves and take an active and helpful interest in Sherpa Expeditions' clients' progress.

Sherpa Expeditions' programme is fully flexible, you can normally start your walk on any day during the season, and build in extra days where you desire, for resting or sightseeing.
