    Venere is managed by Venere Net SpA, an Italian company whose main office is in Rome. Venere's on-line hotel reservation services began in 1995 and since then, millions of tourists from over 200 countries around the world have used the Venere website. The company is owned by the four founders Marco Bellacci, Matteo Fago, Renata Sarno and Gianandrea Strekelj and by the venture capital fund Kiwi II, which believed and invested in Venere in the years 2000 and 2001.
